Rohan Bhatnagar (Hrithik Roshan) is a kind, happy young man who is blind since birth and works as a voice-over artist for a living. Through friends, he meets Supriya Sharma (Yami Gautam), a working woman who is also visually impaired, but proudly independent. The two fall in love and get married.

One night, while returning home after a meal, he is interrupted by Amit Shelar (Rohit Roy), the younger brother of a local goon and Madhavrao Shelar (Ronit Roy), a well-known politician. He and his friend Wasim, badly mistreat the couple, enrage Rohan, and have a warm pose.

The next morning while Rohan was at work, Amit and Wasim barged into the house and gang-raped Supriya. A frightened Rohan immediately calls the police; Officer Choubey advised him to get his wife medically examined in 24 hours to prove the attack. While Rohan and Supriya are en route to the clinic, they are kidnapped by the people of Shelar.

And is held captive for 36 hours. After being freed, Rohan and Supriya are criticized by the police for delaying Supriya's medical examination, and both are accused of being false. Heartbroken, they returned home. Supriya attempts to live normally but Rohan falls silent and introspects, which hurts her.

One morning, Rohan returns early from work and is not as helpful to apologize to Supriya as he should have, only to find her corpse, hanging from the ceiling fan. Madhavrao met Rohan and revealed that his brother Amit raped Supriya not once but twice. Rohan gets Supriya's braille note, which reveals that Amit raped her a second time; This second attack led to his suicide. Shattered, Rohan turns. He tells Officer Choubey that he will avenge his wife's death, challenging that Choubey will know who did it, but will not be able to do anything about it, like he did nothing about Supriya's rape. .

Rohan uses his skill to improve his voice to lure criminals, which Rohan knows well. First, he dodges Wasim and hangs him, causing Amit to frame Amit's handkerchief. He takes Amit to the warehouse where he and Supriya were imprisoned for 36 hours. He finds Amit by the smell, he is burnt alive in an explosion.

Officer Chaubey, after missing his challenge, suspected Rohan for the killings of Amit and Wasim and put him under house arrest. It is learned that Choubey knew that Amit had raped Supriya, but he did nothing after Madhavrao bribed her. Rohan meets the previous police with the help of his friend,

And calls Madhavrao to an under-construction building which was to be Rohan and Supriya's new home. There, Rohan kills him and makes it look like a suicide. Rohan later relates the story to Chaubey: he sees that as Amit killed Wasim, Madhavrao commits suicide due to the pain of Amit's death. With no evidence against Rohan, a blind man, Choubey stands helpless. Rohan, his revenge complete, scrape Supriya's ashes into the sea.

कहानी 

रोहन भटनागर ( ऋतिक रोशन ) एक दयालु, खुशमिजाज युवक है जो जन्म से ही अंधा है और जीवनयापन के लिए वॉइस ओवर आर्टिस्ट का काम करता है । दोस्तों के माध्यम से, वह सुप्रिया शर्मा ( यामी गौतम ) से मिलता है, जो एक कामकाजी महिला है, जो नेत्रहीन भी है, लेकिन गर्व से स्वतंत्र है। दोनों में प्यार हो जाता है और शादी हो जाती है।

एक रात, भोजन करने के बाद अपने घर लौटते समय, वे एक स्थानीय गुंडे और माधवराव शेलार ( रोनित रॉय ) के छोटे भाई अमित शेलार ( रोहित रॉय ) से बाधित होते हैं , जो एक प्रसिद्ध राजनीतिज्ञ हैं। वह और उसका दोस्त वसीम, युगल के साथ बुरी तरह से दुर्व्यवहार करते हैं, रोहन को गुस्सा दिलाते हैं, और उनके पास एक गर्म मुद्रा है।

अगली सुबह जब रोहन काम पर था, अमित और वसीम घर में घुस गए और सुप्रिया के साथ सामूहिक बलात्कार किया । एक भयभीत रोहन तुरंत पुलिस को फोन करता है; अधिकारी चौबे ने उन्हें सलाह दी कि वह हमले को साबित करने के लिए अपनी पत्नी की 24 घंटे में चिकित्सकीय जाँच कराएँ। जबकि रोहन और सुप्रिया क्लिनिक के रास्ते में हैं, उन्हें शेलार के लोगों द्वारा अपहरण कर लिया जाता है 

और 36 घंटों के लिए बंदी बना लिया जाता है। मुक्त होने के बाद, पुलिस द्वारा रोहन और सुप्रिया की आलोचना की जाती है, ताकि सुप्रिया की चिकित्सकीय जाँच में देरी हो, और दोनों पर झूठे होने का आरोप लगाया जाता है। दिल टूट गए, वे घर लौट आए। सुप्रिया सामान्य रूप से जीने का प्रयास करती है लेकिन रोहन चुप हो जाता है और आत्मनिरीक्षण करता है, जिससे उसे दर्द होता है।

एक सुबह, रोहन काम से जल्दी लौट आता है और सुप्रिया से माफी मांगने के लिए उतना ही सहायक नहीं होता जितना कि उसके पास होना चाहिए, केवल उसकी लाश को खोजने के लिए, छत के पंखे से लटका हुआ है। 

माधवराव ने रोहन से मुलाकात की और खुलासा किया कि उसके भाई अमित ने एक बार नहीं बल्कि दो बार सुप्रिया के साथ बलात्कार किया। रोहन को सुप्रिया का ब्रेल नोट मिलता है, जिसमें पता चलता है कि अमित ने उसके साथ दूसरी बार बलात्कार किया था; इस दूसरे हमले के कारण उसकी आत्महत्या हो गई।

 चकनाचूर, रोहन बदल जाता है। वह अधिकारी चौबे से कहता है कि वह अपनी पत्नी की मौत का बदला लेगा, यह चुनौती देते हुए कि चौबे को पता होगा कि यह किसने किया, लेकिन इसके बारे में कुछ नहीं कर पाएंगे, जैसे उन्होंने सुप्रिया के बलात्कार के बारे में कुछ नहीं किया।

रोहन अपराधियों को लुभाने के लिए अपने आवाज में सुधार करने के कौशल का इस्तेमाल करता है, जिसे रोहन अच्छी तरह जानता है। सबसे पहले, वह वसीम को चकमा देता है और उसे लटकाता है, जिससे अमित के रूमाल को अमित ने फ्रेम किया। वह अमित को उस गोदाम में ले जाता है जहां उसे और सुप्रिया को 36 घंटे तक बंदी बनाया गया था। वह गंध से अमित को पाता है, उसे एक विस्फोट में जिंदा जला दिया जाता है।

अधिकारी चौबे ने अपनी चुनौती को याद करने के बाद अमित और वसीम की हत्याओं के लिए रोहन पर शक किया और उसे घर में नजरबंद कर दिया । यह पता चला है कि चौबे को पता था कि अमित ने सुप्रिया के साथ बलात्कार किया है, लेकिन माधवराव द्वारा उसे रिश्वत देने के बाद उसने कुछ नहीं किया। रोहन अपने दोस्त की मदद से पिछली पुलिस से मिलता है,

और माधवराव को एक निर्माणाधीन इमारत में बुलाता है जो रोहन और सुप्रिया का नया घर होना था। वहां, रोहन उसे मारता है और इसे आत्महत्या जैसा दिखता है। बाद में रोहन ने कहानी को चौबे के साथ जोड़ा: उन्होंने यह देखा कि जैसे अमित ने वसीम की हत्या कर दी, वैसे ही माधवराव ने अमित की मौत के दर्द के कारण आत्महत्या कर ली। एक अंधे आदमी रोहन के खिलाफ कोई सबूत नहीं होने के कारण, चौबे असहाय खड़ा है। रोहन, उसका बदला पूरा, समुद्र में सुप्रिया की राख को कुरेदता है।
